Oneida Camp Rules:

  • No electric heaters, grills, hotplates, air conditioners, hot tubs, rope lights, or full size refrigerators are permitted unless you have your own power.

  • No unnecessary driving is allowed in camp.  The speed limit is 5 miles per hour on all roads.   You may drive a golf cart in camp, but please adhere to the speed limits!

  • Pets are permitted on the campground, but must be on a leash.  You are required to clean up after your pets.  Do not leave dogs alone on a site if they are prone to barking.  If there are frequent complaints you may lose your privilege to have a dog at the camp or may lose your membership privileges.  No pets are allowed in the Upper Lodge. Pets will be allowed in the private cabins for a charge of $20.00.

  • Please limit outside lighting to no more than 100 watts and turn off lights when you go to bed.

  • Keep music at a reasonable decibel level.  There should be no loud music at any site at any time.  Just because you want to party does not necessarily mean your neighbors do.

  • No littering.  This includes cigarette butts.  There are litter baskets located throughout the camp.  USE THEM!

  • Do not leave fires unattended or candles burning when you are not at your site.

  • Although our policy is “clothing optional” try to be discreet when it comes to sexual activity.  No explicit sexual activity will be tolerated at the pool, rec hall,  the area in front of or inside the disco or other public venues.  Take it to your site or the woods!  Nudity is not permitted in the office, at camp sponsored meal functions, or at the cafe.

  • No outside guests are allowed in the campgrounds without first registering at the office.  This includes outside contractors, vendors, etc.  If you have a problem that requires someone from the outside, contact the office staff first before making arrangements.

  • No glass containers, pets or cameras are permitted in the pool area.

  • Trash pick-up is at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday.  Please make sure you get your trash to one of the many trashcans located throughout the camp by that time.  There will be no trash pickup at individual sites.  If you miss trash pickup you will be required to bring your trash to the dumpster at the exit to the camp.  Seasonal campers should bring their own trash to the dumpster.  You brought it in, you can carry it out.

  • If you use the lake to swim or sun bathe SWIM SUITS ARE REQUIRED!  Do not go to the lake by yourself—always use the buddy system.

  • Use or possession of Illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere on the campgrounds.

  • Notify the office of any injury or illness that needs medical attention.

  • Everyone including seasonals must complete a membership application and must carry a membership card.  If you lose your membership card there will be a $2.00 replacement charge.

  • You must bring your own mug or cup to the disco.  We will no longer supply plastic cups at the disco for beer.  You received a plastic beer mug when you completed your membership application.  You may use that or another container, but do not bring glass mugs or drinking cups to the disco to avoid injuries.

  • The office hours are 10 – 6 Sunday through Thursday and 10 – midnight Friday and Saturday.  If you need wood, ice, or other items from the camp store, please keep this in mind.  Ice and some other items will also be available at the café by the disco during their regular hours.
